Working on the Road

Hey fans!

I can’t believe I have been in California almost two full months! You may be wondering if I actually ever do any work, since I am always posting such fun photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

While I’ve been here, I’ve play some great shows, went to music conferences, attended Grammy events, made some great music/tv/film connections, and I’ve been getting trained as a brand partner with Nerium International.  All which I will write about in one of my next post, but I’ve also been doing some mysterious and fun graphic design work for three awesome new clients !

My Son & Mickey Mouse     Of Monkeys & Men
1) TOP SECRET PRODUCT: In San Diego, I was working with a business developer on the packaging design, branding and manufacturing of a top secret new product for the video game industry. I can’t wait to see this product come to market! I can’t wait to show you the designs we’ve put together. While I was in San Diego, my son flew into town and we went to DisneyLand and to the San Diego Zoo. We had such a great time. I don’t think he misses me as much as I miss him. He is a 15-year old boy after all, and they like to pretend they don’t need their moms.
La Jolla Beach     At the Beach in Santa Barbara
2) PETER LORD-WOLFF: I’ve also been working remotely with enigmatic Author Peter Lord Wolff of Carmel, CA who has been writing his new books for the past several years. He is one of the most intelligent and interesting person I’ve talked to in a while. I can’t disclose to you what we will be doing over the next several months. You will just have to follow him on twitter to figure it out. The work I will be doing for Peter involves my web, graphics, a social media skills AND my voice! Yay!

Thomas Steinbeck
3) THOMAS STEINBECK: Finally, I’ve been working with on of our national treasures, author Thomas Steinbeck. I am helping Thomas update his website while he is mysteriously hides away writing his memoires. When he does make an appearance, he injects a jolt of excitement into our work as we all wrap around his kitchen table swapping stories. The Steinbecks have graciously put us up in their guest house while we are here working for them. Our accomodations are very comfortable which has made me take the long way home. Something I will tell you about in my next post. I love my work, and I love my life, I can do it from anywhere in the world. I am blessed!
